Cabra Bowls Function Rooms
Thank you for considering Cabra Bowls as the venue for your function. The following information will ensure a smooth lead up to your special occasion.
Booking conformation
Confirmation of the booking is required by a $100 bond within 21 days of your inquiry. This bond is refundable providing no damage is made to the facilities and all agreements are made are kept in place.
Room Hire Fee
Room hire fee needs to be paid within 21 days of the function date confirmed. Prices are as follows, $300 for Sports Room and $450 for Auditorium. This includes table set/ room set-up (decorations not included) and also the cost of staff, security. Hula 18th and 21st Birthday have an additional security costing of $200 and need to be paid in advance.
Cancellation Fee
Should the function be cancelled within 4 weeks of the date booked the $100 bond will be non-refundable.
Final Guest Number and Payment
Final guest numbers are required at least 1 week prior to the event, and the balance of catering costs Is paid at this time.
Beverage Policy
We have an extensive wine list and all beverages are at competitive prices. It is the policy at our Club That liquor not to be brought onto the premises.
Music
A DJ for all ages can be arrange if required, prices may vary but the Dj is $300 for 5 hours, they are prepared to act as M.C. if needed. Door must be closed when music playing.
The Club’s policy does not allow for any outside caterer’s to be used on Club premises or food other. Then specialty cakes to be brought into the Club.
Club Closing Times
The Club ceases all function at 12:00 midnight; please note that the patrons are requested to vacate these rooms by 12:30 am and in consideration for the surrounding residents to leave quietly. There is a courtesy bus supplied by the Club that pick up and deliver patrons who live locally, Wed 6pm -11pm Thurs, Fri, Sat, 6pm -12 midnight, Sunday 3pm -9pm. Check with reception for your nearest pick up point.
Dress Codes
Members and their Guests shall at all times be correctly attired. Permitted after 7pm – slacks, dress jeans, shirts/ blouses, culottes, shirts with collars.
